Currently when I delete a message I am returned to the inbox. Is there a setting In the app that when I delete a message I automatically move to the next message instead of back to the inbox? Deleted the app and reinstalled and that fixed it for a few hours but now back to no badges. Ancient iPhone 7 here and can confirm same issue - started about ~5 days ago. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the GMail app, and all that did was lose me my recognized notification sounds. .
